Centre for Musical Minds 2025: A Year of Extraordinary Music, Milestones & Community

Frisco, TX — The Centre for Musical Minds (CMM), located at 7884 Preston Rd., Suite 904 in Frisco, is celebrating an extraordinary year highlighted by major performances, world-class guest artists, meaningful community outreach and a record year of giving.

The year began with high energy as students took the stage with a live rhythm section during February’s Pop Recitals at The Gallery 8680. In April, students demonstrated technical and artistic growth through Achievement Auditions, followed by transformative master classes with USC Professor Dr. Omar Roy.

CMM strengthened its commitment to service with multiple Notes of Joy community outreach performances held in May, October, and December, where Asha Pradhan led groups of young musicians that brought music and encouragement to seniors and families throughout Frisco.

Summer programs featured an impressive roster of guest clinicians; Dr. Todd Van Kekerix, S'Ankh Rasa, Nigel Rivers, and Jaquita Jones led immersive camps in creativity, ensemble playing, improvisation, world rhythms, and elevated performance practice.

Centre for Musical Minds – June 5, 2025 – Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall NYC

One of the year’s major milestones was CMM’s debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City on June 5, where forty-four students and their families filled the seats in Weill Recital Hall and represented Frisco on one of the world’s most iconic stages.

In the fall, students showcased continued musical growth during October Recitals at Steinway Hall in Plano and November’s Personal Best Adjudications, an event designed to celebrate individual progress and self-confidence.

The year concluded with the inspiring Gift of Music” December Recitals at The Gallery 8680, which included CMM’s community-wide Toy, Food & Supplies Drive. Thanks to generous support from CMM families, the school donated over $1,500 in toys and essential supplies to local nonprofit organizations serving families in need throughout Frisco, making this the most impactful giving event in CMM’s history.
