The Gift of Music: A Celebration of Joy, Hope & Peace

Centre for Musical Minds Launches Holiday Toy, Food & Supplies Drive During December Recitals
This December, The Centre for Musical Minds (CMM) will host its annual holiday recitals, “The Gift of Music: A Celebration of Joy, Hope & Peace,” on December 6th and 7th at local gem, The Gallery, 8680 Main Street in Frisco.
Through six inspiring performances featuring students of all ages, the CMM community will come together to share the joy of music while also extending that joy beyond the stage.
As part of the weekend celebration, CMM is launching a community-wide Toy, Food, and Supplies Drive to benefit three local nonprofit organizations that serve families in need:
- Frisco ReFresh – Providing hygiene and essential care items for families in need
- Frisco FastPacs – Ensuring local children have nutritious meals when school is not in session
- Frisco Family Services – Supporting neighbors in crisis and helping them achieve long-term stability
“We believe music has the power to inspire connection, empathy and hope,” said Kristin Yost, Founder and Executive Director of CMM. “Through this event, we want our students to not only share their musical accomplishments, but also experience how their gifts can create joy and positive change in our community.”
Guests attending any of the recitals are invited to bring new toys, non-perishable food items, or essential household supplies to donate. All contributions will go directly to the partner organizations listed above. You can visit their websites directly by clicking on their names, to purchase items or make a donation.
The event promises to be a heartwarming reminder that while music brings us together, generosity helps us lift others, creating harmony that extends far beyond any concert hall.
Performance Times:
- Saturday, December 6: 3:00, 4:30, and 6:00 PM
- Sunday, December 7: 9:30, 11:00, and 12:30 PM
- Location: The Gallery, 8680 Main Street, Frisco, TX
