Awaken and develop your child's inborn musicality! Musikgarten is an active, joyful music-making program that gives your child the skills to make music from birth. Singing, moving, listening, playing simple instruments and music games are so much fun when we do them together. Start with simple songs and activities while holding your baby, through playing music games with your toddler, and watching your pre-Kindergartner read easy music notation while creating their own music.

Music improves overall development, decreases learning problems, and enhances brain functioning - all in a learning environment that fosters the building of community. Adults benefit as well, as they witness the magic of music, movement, and song and realize just how appropriate and enjoyable simple activities shared with their children can be. Babies

Ages: birth - 12 months or walking unassisted
30 minutes with parent

Play musically with your baby through bouncing and rocking songs, wiggle and peek-a-boo games, dancing, moving, and singing. Music play activities are designed to increase your child's curiosity about music, to develop listening skills and a sense of beat, and to establish the foundation for singing and musical thought.

Toddlers

Ages: 12 months or walking unassisted to 3 years - 35
40 minutes with parent

Participate with your toddler in singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening, and playing simple instruments - while developing a strong musical bond with your child. Through activities that bridge the natural connection between music and movement , your child's musical aptitude and listening abilities are enhanced and further developed.

Cycle of Seasons

Ages: 3 - 5 years
45 minutes with parent

Celebrate your child's love of nature and growing independence through activities which focus on the seasons of the year. Classes are designed to build attention and self-expression and include singing, chanting, moving, focused listening,k musical games, exploring musical instruments, creative movement and storytelling.

Music Makers: At Home / Around the World

Ages: 4 1/2 - 8 years
1 hour class, parents participate in the last 15 minutes

Your child is now ready for this sequential two-year music program. Music Makers includes singing, creative and structured movement, playing instruments and ensemble work, ear training and guided listening, as well as a developmentally sound approach to music literacy that builds symbolic thinking, concentration, memory, and self-expression.

God's Children Sing Pre-schoolers

Ages: 3 - 5 years
45 minutes with parent

Learn Sunday-school songs and Bible stories while receiving the same benefits as a Cycle of Seasons class.

Twist and Turn / Nimble and Quick

Ages: birth through 5, ideal for siblings
45-minutes with parent

Enjoy singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening, musical games and playing simple instruments as a family. Activities are designed to be flexible for a wide range of ages so that brothers and sisters can make music together. Folk songs and themes from nature encourage making music within your family unit and community.
