What People are Saying

We don't want to brag, so listen to what others around town are saying about our innovative and effective music lessons!

From a Parent: Music schools are not all the same!! CMM has extraordinary teachers, Exceptional results. CMM teachers are committed to instill a lifelong desire to learn and experience music. My daughter loves to play the piano. She is even taking AP theory in high school this year - and thanks to CMM is well-prepared for the curriculum. Thank you Kristin and Sam for your vision and making CMM an extraordinary music school. (also found on google reviews)

From an Adult Student: I'm really happy I found the Centre for Musical Minds.  I've never enjoyed practicing more than I have this past year.  It's been a joy to keep learning!

From a Family: Our daughter has been taking piano lessons for four years at CMM.  We cannot say enough about the incredible opportunities she has had because of Miss Kristin.  Her experiences range from regional and national competitions, recitals, festivals, book release parties and more!  We look forward to the continued success for years to come while studying at CMM.

From a Parent: Centre for Musical Minds has been a wonderful experience. The skilled, accomplished teachers have a real passion and gift for working with children. They are always accessible to parents and students for questions.

We have taken lessons from someone in her home, as well as from larger music facilities and for us, the Centre for Musical Minds has provided a nice combination of personal service as well as the advantage of being around others with similar interest.

From a Parent: Overall, Colby and I are so happy and pleased that we've found CMM! Our kids couldn't be happier and learning more. I think it's really fantastic how many different events you have going on throughout the year. The keyboard jam is so incredibly cool and I absolutely love the Christmas recital at the senior home. CMM is really changing both Olivia and Cameron's minds about playing instruments in general. It's not this thing that they HAVE to do anymore, they really WANT to do it and are showing so much enthusiasm and pride along the way. I am so proud of them too, by the way!

From a Parent: Starting my boys on piano early was one of the best decisions I've made as a parent. Now that they are 10 and 13, they wouldn't dream of quitting piano because they've grown with it.

From a teacher: The pleasant atmosphere I experienced when I walked through the door for the first time touched me immediately. Music teachers can work in a beautiful environment that encourages creativity and learning! I'm proud and delighted to be a part of the teaching faculty at The Centre for Musical Minds."

From a Parent about Music Camp: The girls loved piano camp! They talked each day about what they did and how much fun they had. They told us different songs they heard on the piano...(How to Save a Life, Apoloize, Puff the Magic Dragon, Imagine, classical pieces and jazz.) We were very pleased with the result.

From a Teacher: I love teaching at CMM because of the freedom to be creative with my students...The Centre is truly focused on helping each child grow into a musical adult, and it is so refreshing to know that we can meet even the youngest child at their level, and make joyful music together.

From a Parent: I just wanted to email to say how much the kids are enjoying their music lessons this term! The teachers are great.  Greta thank you also for taking the time to chat with them on Wednesday - I wish you could have heard their conversation in the car on the way home - it was very grown-up and they kept saying how nice everyone is.

They both are already looking forward to their lessons next week which makes it all a much nicer experience for me

From a Teacher: I really love working at the Centre for Musical Minds because of the people I meet here. There is a vibrant mosaic of people that make up CMM. The picture is always changing, always evolving and it's a pleasure to see the ways music comes to life here.
